Neil Gaiman's journal Voted Best 2007 Literature Blog

Here are the Links to the all the sites that were in the running:

Neil Gaiman's journal (Winner)
Pepys' Diary
Avon Romance Blog
Maud Newton
Classical Bookworm
Writer's Block
Erik Hare
Diary of a Heretic
Bookgasm
McSweeney's

However, what strikes me as odd is that these blogs seem to have been overlooked:

A Dribble of Ink
Adventures in Reading
Bookie Monster
Craphound
Fantasy & Sci-Fi Lovin' Blog
Fantasy Book Critic
Fantasy Debut
Graeme's Fantasy Book Review
Neth Space
Nuketown
Pat's Fantasy Hotlist
Pyr-o-mania
Sandstorm Reviews
Sci -Fi Blog
Sci-Fi Book Review
SciFi Ranter Girl
SciFiChick
SF Signal
The Alien Next Door
The Book Swede
The Fantasy Review
The Gravel Pit
The Swivet

I love reading Neil Gaiman's journal, but I think that had they been included in the pool, Pat's Fantasy Hotlist, Fantasy Debut, or The Alien Next Door, might have given Neil Gaiman's journal a run for its money.

Anyway, Congratulations are due to Neil Gaiman's journal!

Next year, I will pay more attention and be sure to make nominations.

Wow; that's so nice of you to say so! However, Neil Gaiman is Neil Gaiman, and I'm nobody. I don't think I can compete!

The only blog I heard of besides Neil Gaiman's is Bookgasm. I'll have to check out those others.

Thanks for the would-be nomination!

Ahh, thanks for the shout out!

I, too, thought the list was a little narrowing as well, considering I'd only ever heard of Gaiman's and Bookgasm.

That being said, I myself voted for Gaiman, so I can't complain about the results!

Plus I've now got some new blogs to add to my RSS aggregator!

I was not even aware of this contest, then again Neil Gaiman is pretty funny at times. As much I am flattered that you name me here, I don't think my blog is qualified to win such a contest, I write these reviews mostly to get the stuff out of the way (to put it that way) and I am surprised there are even people who are willing to read it.

Thanks for the shout!

- Which reminds me, I still do need to read that Hamline publication you sent me. :) Haven't forgotten about you.

Aaron, thanks for the plug. Come to think of it, there's also YOUR blog! I think we all should pay attention more next time with nominations... :)

I wasn't even aware of the contest. Fortunately, I blog for pleasure, not recognition-- which is why I'm still at it. ;)
