“Party”

I’m not one for parties
stuck in a corner alone, drinking
water because I’m the driver

Last night’s Birthday blast
was different. I had fun.
People wanted to talk to me
Hang with me, and it wasn’t wired,
it was fun.

I had one beer
5 waters
and left before the raffle

I was asked to stay
I was wished farewell
this never happens to me

I’m the guy that ruins parties
I’m the Debbie-Downer, 

the mature one, but
last night was different,

not that I got crazy, I don't

really do crazy.

I hope, I hope that I’m not
becoming social or something worse
because last night was a lot, a lot
of fun.
