I've been attacked by the fiction bug. I'm 1500 words into a new story. If I follow through, it will be the first full draft of a new story that I've written since finishing my MFA. So, forgive another bad poem.
"Writing Fiction"
the thing comes on like a dream
right out of hell
characters will not quite
they are like cancer
the plot thick like depression
fire on the brain
details, details, where are the details
like rain
i can't type fast enough to caputre
the maddness
