Locked up in Minneapolis is a photo project that I dreamed up while walking around Minneapolis with my sleeping daughter. Everywhere I walked, I came across bikes locked up. Seeing all of these locked up bikes is at once sad - where are their riders - and hopeful - more and more people are choosing to commute using a bike rather than burn fossil fuels.

I started the project on 17 May 2012. While walking around, I shot more than fifty locked up bikes. I will begin with these pictures, posting one a day.
